The Oswego Renaissance Association (ORA), in collaboration with Oswego residents and the neighborhood revitalization firm CZB, will be doing Ward Walks/Full Housing Inventory with the following schedule. Residents look at their neighborhoods with fresh eyes. What is the neighborhood like? How is the housing? Is the neighborhood trending up? Down? Where is change needed? What do you see? These walks are critical, as they precede targeted revitalization efforts for Spring 2014. If you are interested in working with us to revitalize and restore your neighborhood, we recommend early involvement.

Ward Walk Schedule

 

Ward 1: Saturday July 6th & Sunday July 7th

Ward 3: Saturday July 13th   (and 1-2 weeknights the week of July 15th)

Ward 4: Sunday July 14th (and 1-2 weeknights the week of July 15th)

Ward 5: Saturday July 27th (and 1-2 weeknights the week of July 29th)

Ward 6: Saturday August 3rd (and 1-2 weeknights the week of August 5th)

Ward 7: Sunday August 4th (and 1-2 weeknights the week of August 5th)

Ward 2: Aug 26-30 

 

• For each ward, there will be about 5-10 people 

 

• Each weekend day that is listed above: 

  • A morning scoring shift (around 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.)

  • An afternoon scoring shift (around 3 p.m. -5:30 p.m.)

 

• ORA and CZB staff can also meet individuals on weeknights if they’d like to participate but can’t make the weekend time.  

 

- 2 weekend days (Sunday July 28th and Sunday August 11th) are open as “Freebie” weekend days, in case CZB and residents need to move some of the scoring around

 

- July 20th & 21st will be unavailable for Ward Walks
