For 2021, the ORA's Renaissance Downtown Challenge funding is focused on the City of Oswego's Traditional Downtown areas as defined in the City of Oswego Zoning Code as TD1. These zones are in dark purple on the map below. These are areas that encourage pedestrian, rather than automotive, oriented environments. Since the East Side of Oswego has fewer blocks designated TD1, we have expanded the area beyond TD1 on the east side to include more east side businesses. While high priority will be given to applications from our Target Zones, business that may be outside the area, but just a block or two away, may also apply.
